Aaron is a mentor at Coyote Coast.
Aaron is passionate about supporting adolescents and families. He enjoys helping them find the support they need to navigate life’s many challenges. Aaron’s own personal experiences sparked his desires to help others make meaningful change. His personal and academic experience has taught him that it is impossible for us to grow and stretch our capacities to tolerate the tough times alone, and that it takes attuned, skillful help from others to do so.
Aaron’s diverse background in the mental health field has equipped him with many tools to help adolescents and families work towards building connection, collaboration, and expand their capacity to be preset for themselves and others. Aaron has worked with teens and families as a field counselor at a therapeutic boarding school, as well as in wilderness programs. He also worked with a holistic detox center helping adolescents and adults wean off prescription medication and illegal drugs. Aaron holds a masters degree in counseling psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
